Privacy policy
LoQueEstaPasando does not require registration and does not ask for your name, email or any personal information to use the site.
Preferences in your browser
We save in your own browser (localStorage) your choice of light or dark mode, the language you want headlines translated into, and translations already made so they do not have to be repeated. This data never reaches our server and you can delete it from your browser settings.
Translation
When you choose to translate headlines, the text of the headlines (never your personal data) is translated by the translator built into your browser or, if it is not available, sent to the free MyMemory translation service. "Read translated" links open the article through Google Translate.
Advertising
This site may show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. You can disable personalized advertising at https://www.google.com/settings/ads. Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland will be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.
Statistics and security
Like any website, our hosting provider and Cloudflare (which protects and speeds up the site) record technical data such as IP address, browser and pages visited, for security and to measure traffic. We do not sell or share this data.
External links
Links to newspapers take you to their websites, which have their own privacy policies.
Videos
Some stories include the newspaper's own video, shown with the official YouTube player. The player only loads, in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, when you press play; from then on Google's privacy policy applies.
Your rights
You can ask us about, correct or delete any data related to you by writing to contact@loqueestapasando.com.
